Hi, my name is Micah and I am a youth from Kearney First Baptist church i would would like to answer the question "Can God Love Me?". I hope that as you read through this you will find that God loves you more than anything in the world.

In Christ,

Micah Wine

I am going to use the word "Faith" to help explain how the Bible answers this question. Each letter represents something different.

F stands for "Forgiveness". We cannot have eternal life without Gods "Forgiveness".

The Bible says: "In Him (meaning Christ), we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our sins."

So now we have a way to be made clean, because when God Forgives you, you are rid of all your sins and are made pure. Now this doesn't mean that from now on its impossible to sin, it just means that all your past sins are forgiven and your guilt has been taken away.

A stands for Available. Forgiveness is available for all.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life."

Forgiveness is Available but it is not Automatic.

"Not every one who say to Me Lord, Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven."

God wants so much for us to be with Him that He made forgiveness available by sending His Son to die on the cross for our sins cause back in Bible times people would bring the cleanest animal (witch were lambs at that time) and burned them in the temple. Now God has sent the ultimate sacrifice so that we all have a way that we can enter heaven.

I stands for Impossible. It is impossible for God to allow sin into heaven.

God is Love.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life."

God is just.

"For judgment is without mercy."

Man is sinful.

"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Again we see that God sent His Son to die so that we can live with Him.

We have all sinned. In the world today there is no way that we cannot sin. It has always been impossible to not sin. Sin itself is not what makes you sin, it's temptation and you can't let temptation pull you where you don't belong.

Now you may be asking yourself, how can sinful man enter heaven where God allows no sin? That's what T stands for.

T is for Turn.

If you were driving down the road and someone asked you to turn, what would they be asking you to do? Change direction. Turn also means repent.

You have to turn from something: Sin and self

"But unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."

Then turn to someone: Trust Christ Only

The Bible says: "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures."

"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead then you will be saved"

H is for Heaven. Heaven is eternal life.

• There is Heaven Here

"I have come so that you may have life and that you may have it more abundantly."

• There is Heaven Hereafter

"I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, There you may be also."

So can God love you? Yes He can. He loved you so much that he would die on a cross so that you can be forgiven.

How can you have God's forgiveness, heaven and eternal life, and Jesus as personal Savior and Lord?

All you have to do is admit that you are a sinner and confess that He is lord and believe that He died for your sins. You can do all that by praying this prayer.

"Dear Lord Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and that You arose from the grave. I now ask You to forgive me of my sins and to save my soul. Amen."

If you have just accepted Jesus, with the prayer above, then please let us know. If you have already accepted Him, but would like to recommit yourself to serve Him, and stand for him before the church, then you can use the following prayer to do so now. You can also use this prayer if you have just received His forgiveness and want to stand for Him

"Dear Lord Jesus, Thank you for saving my soul. I do not want to be ashamed of You. instead, I want to publicly stand for you before my family, my friends, and my coworkers. I also want to stand before the church, with other Christians, as soon as possible. Amen."
