Don
began his ministry at First Baptist Church in
August 2002. Don
is a native Virginian, raised
in northern Ohio where he asked Jesus into his life when
he was 11 years old. As a young adult, he answered
God’s call to vocational lay ministry. He holds
a bachelor's degree in Christian Education & Church
Music from Campbellsville University (KY); a master's
degree in Recreation from Indiana University; and
has completed non-degree studies at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
His work experiences include medical, factory, railroad,
warehouse, construction; and staff positions in local
churches, and state and national levels of the Southern
Baptist Convention.
Don and his wife, Jody, have
been married for 25 years. Their daughter, Emily,
is a senior at Campbellsville University.
Their son, Kyle, is a sophomore at Southwest Baptist University
in Bolivar, MO. Don's interests include outdoor sports and traveling in the USA.
Don also writes
adventure Bible studies called Bible Devotions:
Lock Stock & Barrel.
Rob became the
full time youth pastor at First Baptist Church
in November of 2005 following a year of interim
service. He continues to focus on activities
and events that promote service to the Church and
the local and national community.
Rob has worked with kids of various ages since 1999
where he directed after school activities and did
camp counseling for the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati.
He has even worked as a youth leader at the Brighton
Youth Services of Cincinnati (Residential Adolescent
Treatment Facility). These experiences have
helped develop the desire to serve the kingdom by
nurturing the local youth to becoming Godly young
men and women.

about the activities and events available can be found
on the Student/Youth Web Site.
